I just had the mixed greens and cornbread. Omg it was amazing! So good i even drank up the juice. Wish i had the recipe because my turnip greens have never tasted that good. What a wonderful way to end my stay in NOLA!

My wife and I missed our return flight home by minutes forcing us to spend 5 hrs in the terminal, when it was time for lunch we opted to try the menu at Creole Carvery, it was much better than expected both in taste and portions. Their cornbread was baked on the premises, their Creole spiced collards greens were so good, I ordered a second helping. Their red bean n rice were above average and their sweet potato pie was superb, this after spending several days in the Crescent City dining at some of the finest spots inlcuding Antoine's and Brennan's.

I won't disagree with you there, but I also can't think of an airport known for friendly workers or especially clean dining options. Aren't the best po'boys served in some of the dirtiest places? :-)

Rude workers and dirty surroundings. I'm from New Orleans and hope this is not someone's first view of our wonderful city. What a shame
