I didn’t have any issues with service (I usually mention if I do). Maybe they stepped it up because of the Eat Up Downtown promotion? And with only 3 entrees on the menu, getting plates out is likely much quicker during EUD.

I have always enjoyed the cuisine at Cafe Nola, however, the service almost always is slow. In fact, on one instance, I stood at the host station for a good ten minutes, while several servers walked by, as I waved my hand trying to get there attention. I eventually gave up and left. Fortunately for the owners, the food is so stellar I keep returning. I was wondering about that part of your experience?
