Jessica is a recent Georgia Tech graduate continuing on to obtain her Ph.D. (read: she’ll be in Atlanta for a while). As an engineer, she loves science, but has always had a thing for food too–and as a native South Louisianian, it’s pretty much in her blood. Her first elementary school science fair project was a comparison of the leavening achieved when substituting different sodas in the recipe for a 7-Up cake. Jessica enjoys reading pop fiction, watching anything on the Food Network (but especially Good Eats), and trying out new recipes/restaurants on her boyfriend Mario.
