Jessica is a recent Georgia Tech graduate. As an engineer, she loves science, but has always had a thing for food too–and as a native South Louisianian, it’s pretty much in her blood. Her first elementary school science fair project was a comparison of the leavening achieved when substituting different sodas in the recipe for a 7-Up cake. Jessica enjoys reading pop fiction, watching cooking shows on the Food Network (i.e. no weird competitions or restaurant review shows…her fav is Good Eats), and trying out new recipes/restaurants on her husband Mario. She has also written for AOL City’s Best.
